Sophie Neuner is receiving her Master’s in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. While completing her degree, Sophie has been a leader promoting student diversity within her program and the University at large, serving on a multitude of committees and providing a powerful voice for Native students.
Prior to completing her MPH, Sophie received her medical degree from the Technical University of Munich. Her main interests include the study of neurology and addiction. She is passionate about addressing substance use disorder and promoting mental health in Indian Country, and will join Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health as a faculty member for the next year working on the Behavioral/ Mental Health and Training Programs before starting her Medical Residency in summer 2021 to continue this valuable work.
