Susy is inspired to advocate for individual families and communities by providing direct services, including informed counseling, social support and providing culturally appropriate health education and information.
Susie has worked with the Center for American Indian Health on the Infectious Disease Team since 2005. In the years she has been employed her responsibilities in that role is to provide the critical link between clients and health care. Her knowledge of recruiting families to participate on the research programs conducted by Johns Hopkins. Collecting information and samples to analyze for research purposes. Communication follow-ups and educating the importance of being compliant with their health care. There are many challenges to her role, however wishes to continue to make a difference not only on an individual level but also to provide a meaningful effective contribution to our communities.
