Shaneyka Yazzie currently works as a Research Program Assistant for the Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health. She has been with the center since March 2018. She is from the Shiprock/Sanostee community where she has grown up. She currently lives in Shiprock with her two children and family.  Shaneyka works with Preventing Early Childhood Obesity as a Family Health coach and as an Independent Evaluator for the PROTECT study. She has received her certificate in Public Health and is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Public Health.
