Research Program Assistant
Ronni Huskon, Navajo, grew up in Tolani Lake --a rural location within the Navajo Reservation. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Health Promotion and Minor in Nutrition and Healthy Living. She joined the Center for American Indian Health as a Research Program Assistant in November 2018. After living on the reservation for 15 years, she always wanted to return home to the Navajo reservation using her education to help make a difference. She is educating and promoting healthy living to patients and clients to prevent and reduce risk behaviors and complications that threaten the lives of families and the community. She is excited to be with the Center, making a difference for the community and families in promoting a healthy lifestyle and behaviors.
