Kristin’s biggest inspiration stems from her late paternal grandmother, Betty, who was a Mental Health Specialist. “My Nali lady Betty had the biggest heart and instilled in us to work hard to help others.”
Kristin has been with the Center for American Indian Health in Chinle, Arizona since Fall 2018. Outside of her work on the Behavioral Health team, she is a Case Manager with the Iina Ayoo’oo’ni’: Embrace Life, Suicide Prevention Program and helps within the Asdzaan Be’eena’: Female Pathways Program as a Health Educator. Kristin received her Bachelors of Art in Psychology in May 2018 from Dine College and will be continuing her Masters this coming summer in Clinical Mental Health.
