Janice's clans are Naaneesht'ezhi tachii'nii (The Charcoal Streaked Division of the Red Running Into the Water clan)  born for Tabaaha (Water's Edge Clan).

She joined Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health at the Chinle site as a Research Program Assistant in May 2020.  She works with  Respecting the Circle of Life promoting healthy behavior and preventing teen pregnancy and substance use for Dine youth virtually. 

On her days off, Janice enjoys spending time with her family outdoors or playing game borders, creating art projects, and giving back to her community with Chinle Planting Hope and making a difference in her community.
