Estar Denny

Research Nurse Supervisor

I enjoy helping my community through my knowledge of nursing.  I have done data collection for infection control in other jobs and preventative medicine with youth.  I wanted to apply this experience in more ways that would benefit my community.  I had a child in the spring 008 study and was very impressed with the staff and what the study would be doing to benefit babies on the reservation.  This then sparked me to ask if there were any openings for employment.  Luckily, there was and here I am.

Estar Denny is an employee with Johns Hopkins University Center for American Indian Health. She started in March 2015 as the Fort Defiance Site Manager. She has Registered Nursing Experience in ER, School Health and Long Term/post operational Rehab care.
