Sheridan Bedonie


Research Program Assistant


Sheridan is a member of the Navajo Nation, T ł 'ááshchí'í (The Red Bottom People) born for Deeshchii’nii (Start of the Red Streak People). His maternal grandfather clan is Tó'aheedlíinii (The Water Flows Together), and his paternal grandfather clan is Tódich'ii'nii (Bitter Water). He joined the Center for Indigenous Health in July of 2022 as a Research Program Assistant in Chinle, Arizona on the program Azhe’é Bidziil (Strong Fathers).

Prior to joining the Center, Sheridan has facilitated in licensed residential settings under The Tungland Corporation (TTC) and since has traveled for seasonal work in hospitality through The Xanterra Travel Collection, Vail Resorts, Inc. and Boyne Resorts.

Sheridan received his AA in Social & Behavioral Science from Diné College and is currently pursuing a BA in Social Work from Northern Arizona University.
