Charity Watchman

Helping the people is a passion of Johns Hopkins University Center of American Indian Health, I am fortunate to be a part of all the work we do every day to support our Native communities.


Charity Watchman is from the Dine’ Tribe in the Four Corners area of Newcomb, NM. She is Red Cheek Clan, born for Bitterwater Clan, and her maternal grandfather clan is Tangle People, and her paternal grandfather clan is Salt Clan.

She is a part of the behavioral health programs as a case manager for the Southwest HUB for American Indian Youth Suicide Prevention Program, an Independent Evaluator for Family Spirit Nurture: Prevention Early Childhood Obesity Project, and an Educator for the Native Vision Program on the Navajo Nation.

Charity has been with the Center since March 2018.
