I believe in supporting Indigenous-led approaches to enhancing the well-being of Native people.


Angela Tsinnie has recently returned to the Center for American Indian Health to work with the Field Administrative team.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies where she focused on the Psychology of Leisure and Recreation.  She earned a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Arizona with an emphasis on Health Education and Behavioral Sciences.  There, she was a National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities Project EXPORT Fellow and worked primarily with Indigenous youth and families in diabetes, substance abuse, teen pregnancy and HIV prevention.
