Study Physician Assistant
After completing my Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2009 at the University of Puget Sound in Washington, I joined the Peace Corps as a health volunteer in Mozambique. I was partnered with the International Center for AIDS Care and Treatment Program (ICAP) from 2009-2012, primarily working with Peer Educators to improve antiretroviral treatment adherence. Shortly after returning to the states, I became a research coordinator for Parkinson’s disease biomarker studies at the Oregon Health and Science University from 2013-2016 and a certified nurse assistant at a skilled nursing facility in Portland, OR from 2015-2016. I completed my Masters in Physician Assistant Studies through Northern Arizona University in August 2018, where I completed the majority of my clinical rotations in rural communities. I began working at the Center in October 2018 with the Phase 3 pneumococcal vaccine trial. On my free time I enjoy hiking mountains and photography!
