Samantha Turner

FoodCorps Arizona Fellow

I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...

Samantha began working with the Center for American Indian Health in September 2015 as the FoodCorps Arizona fellow.  As the Fellow, she directly supports Johns Hopkins by implementing the FoodCorps program and serving as the first point of contact for FoodCorps service members, service sites and FoodCorps staff. Her duties include building capacity and partnerships for FoodCorps Arizona in school garden and farm to school programming. Her responsibilities also contribute to supporting service members by organizing state-level trainings, recruiting service sites and members and maintaining relationships with service sites. Samantha enjoys exploring the southwest, cooking and hiking the trails in Whiteriver.
