Leonela Nelson

Title

Research Program Assistant

The programs I am working with offer support, knowledge and new positive experiences to the Native youth on living a healthier lifestyle.  Sometimes participants and/or their family members will tell me that they learned something new and are trying to make lifestyle changes because of the lessons I teach.  That is very rewarding to hear.
