Kimberly King

Human Resources Coordinator

I hope for people to learn to shake off the small stuff, to get back up when they get knocked down, and most importantly to learn to love again, their selves and others over and over again even when they have forgotten how. Life is too short to be negative, pessimistic, and full of hate. So for myself, my family, my friends, and the entire world. Let there be hope, let there be fun, let there be love... and let there be life in all the years ahead.

Kimberly joined the Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health as the Human Resource Coordinator in October 2017.  She has worked with Johns Hopkins University since May 2015 and has over 10 years of experience in a Human Resource capacity.  She strives not only to work towards the goals of the company, but to help fulfil the needs of the employees as well.  She is currently educating on a part-time basis at the University of Baltimore’s Merrick School of Business.  In her spare time, she volunteers with CityFam, a local nonprofit in Baltimore, MD.  Kimberly is also a certified event planner, she loves planning/coordinating weddings and she helps coordinate Charm City Countdown, one of the biggest New Years Eve events around Baltimore, MD.  When she isn’t working or studying she loves to travel, be active outdoors, garden, and just hang out with her two cats.
