I know growing up on the reservation is tough and the youth face a lot of adversity and struggle on a daily basis. I work to give the students hope, even if it is just a glimmer. We encourage them to pursue higher education to create a better future for themselves. We teach them not to give up on themselves and to see all the greatness they have yet to accomplish. To me, that’s inspiring!
