Feather Sprengeler

Research Assistant

I know growing up on the reservation is tough and the youth face a lot of adversity and struggle on a daily basis. I work to give the students hope, even if it is just a glimmer. We encourage them to pursue higher education to create a better future for themselves. We teach them not to give up on themselves and to see all the greatness they have yet to accomplish. To me, that’s inspiring!

Feather has been working with the Center for American Indian Health since April 2014 with the Arrowhead Business Group Apache Youth Entrepreneurship Program. She does community outreach to inform parents about the program, present at schools, recruit students, conduct assessments, and facilitate business curriculum at both summer camp and throughout the regular school-year. Feather is planning on attending graduate school in the near future to study for a Master of Public Health Degree.
