The Center is currently partnering with the Office of Adolescent Health in a cooperative agreement to rigorously evaluate the Respecting the Circle of Life program for teen pregnancy prevention and associated sexual and reproductive health outcomes. Respecting the Circle of Life is a comprehensive, 10-lesson curriculum delivered to youth and their parents through an innovative summer basketball camp and follow-on individual and small group sessions. Funding from the Office of Adolescent Health will enable the Center to measure the impact of Respecting the Circle of Life, increase the number of available evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention programs, and disseminate Respecting the Circle of Life to other American Indian populations.
